Responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling daily transport activities—including milkrun and regular delivery operations—to ensure optimal vehicle utilization, schedule compliance, and operational efficiency through accurate coordination and real-time execution.
1.Education & Experience
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Transportation Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation/logistics. Fresh graduates with relevant internships will be considered.
2.Skills & Competencies
Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to operational details.Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP or Transport Management Systems (TMS). Good understanding of routingtrip schedulingand basic transport cost structure.Strong analytical thinking, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure. Effective communicator with a collaborative attitude across departments.
1.Transport Planning
Develop daily transportation schedules based on routesvehicle capacityand customer demand (both OEM and regular shipments).Optimize delivery sequencing and routing for time and cost efficiency.Analyze historical data and delivery trends to support short-term and mid-term planning.Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to align loading readiness with transport dispatch.
2. Transport Controlling.
Monitor real-time vehicle movement using GPS/telematics and transport system tools.Follow up on route deviationsdelaysand unexpected incidents on the road.Record and analyze delivery issuesdelaysor missed deliveries and recommend corrective actions.Communicate with drivers and operational staff to ensure smooth execution of transport schedules.
3. Data Management & Reporting. Generate daily and weekly reports on transport KPIssuch as on-time delivery ratetrip completionand vehicle utilization.Ensure timely and accurate input of trip datadelivery orders (DO)load recordsand vehicle status in the system.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve route planning and fleet deployment.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination & Compliance.
Collaborate with maintenancesafetyand HR teams to ensure driver and fleet readiness.Ensure transport operations follow company SOPs and regulatory compliance.Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics operations.
